Do's and Don’ts Playing Blackjack
The aim of playing blackjack is to collect cards that total 21 or get as close to 21 as possible. Kings, Queens and Jacks are 10 points worth. The other cards are worth their numbers.
Usually six players are there in this game. Six or eight decks of cards are shuffled and placed in the “Shoe”. If you make 21 with two cards, then you win. This is called as “Blackjack”.
6 deck blackjack is the most popular game and there are some do’s and don’ts playing blackjack. Don’t touch the cards the dealer does this. When you would like to play, just give the hand signal and the dealer would deal. If you tap your fingers on the table then it is meant as a “hit” and you want a “stand”, just wave your hand horizontally above the cards.
To win the game you have to beat the dealer without busting. If your cards total more than 21 then you lose. The blackjack player who has close to 21 is the winner. The numbers are counted by adding the numbers in the cards. These are some of the important words, which would help the blackjack player when playing Blackjack:
Surrender: it means the player gets out of the game and only half the bet is lost.
Early Surrender: means the player can surrender before the dealer checks the winner.
Hard hand: A hand without an Ace when playing blackjack is known as hard hand.
Late Surrender: Here the dealer will first confirm that you do not have a blackjack. If you have a blackjack then surrender is not allowed.
